In our product line, except the normal pump for liquid transfer. We also developed GN solids vacuum pump this special type pump for high solids content material transfer and also for some solids power transfer. Different with normal pump, our vacuum pump was driven by high pressure. Utilize the air suction force and high pressure push force to suck and discharge material. All its component was driven by air include the pump valve. The normal type pump, such as centrifuge pump through the impeller to transfer liquid , but for high solids content material ,such as sludge ,drill cutting ,centrfiuge pump is useless. The solids vacuum can win this job.

last week, we delivered a vacuum pump to Asia customer, who use it to clean the waste pit. Using the pump to suck the sludge out from pit and transfer them away. In the vacuum pump , there is one venture structure, when high speed air through venture, the inside air of tank will be take away, and genera a vacuum space inside of tank. This the source of suction power. After the tank suck full sludge, through switch valve, the high speed air will directly input pump tank, the high pressure air will push the solids out of tank, and discharge them out. As usually, the pump can transfer most kind material with a little liquidity, and the most transfer distance can reach 500 meters . For some low density liquid, the distance even can reach 1000 meters.

Solids vacuum pump is one of the most featured equipment of GN solid control company. Different with other pump, this pump is driven by high pressure for the high solids content material transfer. Last week we completed the manufacture of vacuum for drilling waste handing.

Drilling waste main include the drill cutting discharged from shall shaker,or Decanter centrifuge. It more likes sludge, the normal pump is no way to transfer them because the low liquidity. especial the oil base drill cutting, which is high viscosity. The vacuum pump can directly suck them and transfer them in long distance. The suck power is provided by the vacuum condition of pump tank. The venturi structure of pump will suck out the air inside of pump tank and generate a vacuum space, and then the pipe can suck material through the pipe. After the pump tank filled enough material ,the air will fill into pump tank , and push the material out of pump and discharge out.

Except the high solids content sludge, GN vacuum pump almost can win the transfer of some powder material ,such as sand, metal power etc. The install position is not limited by explosion proof, because there is no electrical component in the pump and all was driven by air.

For currently, we have 4 models with different transfer capacity, they are 40B,20B,10B and 05B. The number of each model standard the transfer capacity of water in one hour. For example, the 40B means the pump can transfer 40m3 clean water in one hour. However the actual capacity is vary, because the material viscosity, liquidity ,solids content and also solids size all these will affect the pump performance. Sometime the altitude also affect pump, because the air pressure of high altitude is lower, which means the pump suck power will be weak.

In the waste management and treatment , oil soil is one of the hardest material for treatment. As usually, it is oil water solids the 3 phase separation, and the oil is hard to separated out from soil. However it is very necessary to treat this kind polluted soil. This system include these main part: solids vacuum pump, soil washing separation, separation equipment, centrifuge equipment, and dewatering equipment.

Solids vacuum pump is used to transfer this high solids content sludge , the normal pump is not workable to pump this kind material. GN vacuum pump is driven by high pressure, and through the vacuum to suck material and discharge material by high pressure. When treat this kind material, firstly we need to washing the soil through the water, which can reduce the solids content, separate off the oil from solids, meanwhile we will mix chemical and heat material to make this separation easier. After that we will transfer this slurry into shale shaker to remove out the big particle size, and then the discharged liquid will be transfer into Decanter centrifuge to remove out the particle between 20-60 microns. After the 2 steps separation, liquid will be feed into disc centrifuge for the oil water and solids separate. Finally ,we can get the clean oil and clean water for reusing in the system.

Last week GN Delivered 5 vertical cutting dryer and 10 units Decanter centrifuge to Nigeria. All these equipment were used for oil base mud treatment, the vertical cutting dryer are install after shale shaker of solids control system, which is used to dryer the drill cutting and recycle the involved mud inside of solids. Nigeria is one of our biggest market, and we had cooperate with this customer for more than 10 years. The client purchase from GN almost every year.

In this order, client required discharged from all machine without dropping on ground. Directly transfer the discharged machine into next machine without stop and non pollution to environment. In the case, we add lots screw conveyors to catch the solids and transfer them to next machine. For example, the screw conveyor will directly receive the solids from shale shaker and feed them into vertical cutting dryer. Below the vertical cutting dryer, there are also equipped screw conveyor,when the solids discharged from vertical cutting dryer, the conveyor will transfer them to truck and transport them to other site for further treatment. Same with shale shaker and vertical cutting dryer, below the Decanter centrifuge ,there are also installed screw conveyor. Between the vertical cutting dryer and Decanter centrifuge , there are screw pump to pump the discharged liquid to centrifuge. These liquid after treatment by centrifuge ,it will clean enough to back to mud system for reuse.

Oil base mud is very expensive material for the well drilling, and it is also important to improve the drilling efficiency and cooling the rig and protect the rig ,and also balance the pressure between inside and outside or machine. Our solids control equipment is aim to keep the good property of drilling mud. The mud cleaner is combination of shale shaker ,desander, and desilter. On the offshore. One machine can treat the sludge for 3 times to remove out different size particle, And the machine only need small area for layout. Compare with onshore drilling ,the offshore or drilling fleet both have more strictly requirement to equipment on explore proof standard, the lifting standard. Most time offshore will need DNV certificate to guarantee the lifting eyes are strong enough. For some electrical motor ,offshore always require some special certificate. GN provide many equipment to offshore drilling project, and we are totally can satisfied with client demand. Mud cleaner is one of the most important equipment after shale shaker in solids control system. It include 2 units 10 inch hydrocyclone and 12 units 4 inch hydrocyclone and also the bottome shaker. Centrifuge pump will feed slurry to 10 inch hydrocyclone first and remove out the particle bigger than 60um. The discharged solids will drop on the bottom shaker to dryer the solids.  Then one more centrifuge pump will feed slurry from bottom tank to 4 inch centrifuge, 4 inch centrfiuge can remove out particle bigger than 20um. For most project, the slurry after treatment by mud cleaner, it would be enough to recycling. However, if the jobsite require more clean slurry, we can add one extra Decanter centrifuge to remove out the tiny solids smaller then 20um.
