GN Cuttings Dryers are effectively machines to recycle oil which can be refined for selling. As we know there are several ways to feed the cuttings dryer: one is using screw conveyor and the other is using cuttings pump. Generally speaking, screw conveyor is more popular. Several screw conveyors are used together to collect the cuttings that separated by shale shaker, desanders and desilters if they are using in the rig site.
While for the mud plant, there are other ways to feed into the cuttings dryer. A screw conveyor with a large hopper is used to collect the cuttings. There are two ways to load the drill cuttings into our feeding hopper.
1. Use Screw Conveyor:
V-type screw conveyor can be put underground. When a truck carries with many cuttings boxes to the mud plant, all the cuttings will be discharged into this V-type screw conveyor first. There will be another screw conveyor used to transfer the cuttings underneath this V-type conveyor to the feeding hopper for GN Cuttings Dryer.
V-type Screw Conveyor will use no shaft conveyor in order to transfer the cuttings smoothly. No Shaft Screw Conveyor can also help to protect the whole equipment without damage.
2. Use Cutting Box
GN Cuttings Box is designed with an easy lock and unlock system for fast openning and closing. In the worksites, workers my use some cutting boxes to load or unload to our feeding hopper.
