Zero discharge have almost become a modular requirement now in China drilling market, to comply with the demand of environmental protection, and as a young market for the drilling waste management, many many companies involve in this. Which makes things more comlicated, as all of the suppliers are trying to customized a solution for the clients. If the end user, or the buyer is not professional enough, all will be puzzled, and learn from their own mistakes.
As an experienced one stop solution supplier, GN have learnd from the experience of supplying modularized HDD mud systems. Now all drilling waste management system are modularized. For the whole process, can be separated to be a few steps.

1. Solids Control
This is where the drilling cuttings waste comes, and solids control system, drilling fluids recycling, is a standard one in driling site. Though a lot of different design.
2. Primary Treatment by Cuttings Dryer or High G shaker
2.1 Delivery Unit
To collect all the solids waste from the solids control system, the vaccum unit, screw conveyors, hose pumps are used as per different concept.
GN have designed a basic / modular delivery unit, c/w collecting hopper, hose pumps, skid.
2.2 High G shaker
High G shaker is widely used for the water based cuttings waste, as it is more effective to handle. Though cuttings dryer can do this well, it is too expensive to operate.
Also each High G shaker can be used as a separate modular unit, with hopper underneath.
2.3 Verticl Cuttings Dryer
Widely used & accepted by users for oil based waste cuttings.
3. Solidification Unit
Then the solids goes to the solidification unit
In China, GN as a pioneer to supply this unit in compact design, and cooperated with US suppliers, absorbing tech. from experienced companies, to serve Chinese market.
4. Dewatering Unit
As we all know after high G shaker, or verticle cuttings dryer, the liquid will be sent to the decanter centrifuge, while if it is not qualified, also need to be flocculated, treated by chemicals.
